| Adam stands in his recently finished coaster themed room. Adam was wanting to change the look of his room for sometime and was contemplating some sort of coaster theme for his bedroom. Adam decided to use personal park photos along with two custom roller coaster graphics painted on two of the walls. The light blue Benjamin Moore paint was the first colour chosen while the dark blue ragged effect strips were designed by Adam. (March 2002) |

| Adam's first idea was to wallpaper areas of his room with park maps. So Adam would always take a handful of maps when he was leaving a park. So what happened? Why not the maps? Park maps are printed on different types of paper stock and we were not quite sure if they would stick very well to the walls and there were also the creases to contend with. So we asked around and did some testing on a few photos printed from a new Canon CLC5000 colour copier on normal laser stock. The testing involved using wallpaper glue... let dry for a few weeks... and then successfully remove photos without damaging the drywall. |

| We searched various clip art galleries and found that these two would work best for us. We took some liberties with first one and added our own PCW Junkies Logo. | We used a total of seventy photographs to make a complete border around the room. Photoshop was used to resize the scanned photos so that each one had the same height of six inches. Believe it or not only a few of them are from Wonderland. We learnt our lesson from Nolan's room and made sure that all miter saw cuts for the dark blue wood moldings were simple 90 and 45 degree cuts... this is were you appreciate owning a Makita Miter Saw. We borrowed an overhead projector to transfer the graphics to the walls. The original plan was to only do one but Donna and Adam were quite pleased with the first one and took a chance and tried a second one. Adam got the idea to transfer these graphics onto the walls after watching a episode of TLC's Trading Spaces. |
