Americana Amusement Park
Middletown, Ohio
Americana is just a few minutes off I-75 and only a few minutes from that Paramount Park off I-71. The Screechin' Eagle Roller Coaster alone made it worth the trip not to mention the life long memories that were created in just a few hours at this park.
Sad news announced in January 2000 by the Coney Island Group that Americana would not be opening for the 2000 season. Americana was sold during the summer of 2000 but did not re-open until June 2002. Americana did re-open for a brief time as LeSourdville Lake Amusement Park in 2002 but sadly has not re-opened since.
