Wild Beast and Drop Zone in the background Other Facts (PCW Junkies Comments):
The Bat (Vekoma Boomerang) is still an extremely popular ride with the guests at Wonderland. The Bat ($3.7M est. cost) was the seventh roller coaster added to the park in 1987. The first time we laid eyes on this ride in 1996 our immediate thought was "no way are we ever getting on that".  Never is a long time and it did take until almost the end of the 1998 season before we tempted our fate on The Bat. The Bat offers an exhilarating, fast, quick and thrilling ride. If you are partial to inversions then this ride is for you. If you don't like going backwards through inversions then maybe you should stay at ground level and watch.

The train for this coaster is actually the third Arrow train that was taken out of storage for Dragon Fyre. It was no until the late 1990's did Vekoma start installing their own brand of trains on Boomerangs. Prior to that they used Arrow trains and hence the name Vekomarrow.
