Other Facts (PCW Junkies Comments): |
| In 1986 Thunder Run ($2.7M est.
cost) and the
Dragon took up its new residence inside Wonder Mountain.
Thunder Run did not start its coaster life inside Wonder Mountain. Prior to 1986 Blauer Enzian, as was known then, was located outside near the current location of The Fly. Adam Reid swears he sees extra track stored inside the mountain but, Dad has yet to see the mysterious unused track pieces. Thunder Run has the distinction of being the PCW Junkies first roller coaster back in May 1996. We had no idea what to expect because we saw so little of the ride. This is a fantastic ride to start the young coaster enthusiast in your family on. We always have fun looking to the left to catch a peek at the Wonder Mountain Dragon. |
