We were back at PCW this morning. I must apologize about the incorrect info regarding "The Bat" paint job. It was late Friday when I was riding the ever intense "Swan" ride with my son, Nolan, and I really only saw the back of "The Bat". It is not painted and is in desperate need of a paint job. Almost as bad as PKI's Vortex.
The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend, mid +20c. We all started the morning off with long pants but were into our shorts before we left the driveway. T-shirts, shorts, caps, and sunglasses were dress code at PCW today. Pretty large crowd for the first of May. Got there about 10:30 and already had a 40 minute wait at "The Fly". Today was a good day to walk around and check out the sites and new shows. We really liked the new "Tropical" show at Paramount Theatre and the "Lights Camera Animals" was very impressive at International showplace. The line up for "3D Dino Island" was to long and hot so we will catch it an other day.
The funniest thing of the day was when were getting something to eat. Decide to try MR. Sub. There was only one other person in front and I swear I thought I was back at PKI waiting in line for Face/off. If they could have been any slower of could have driven to Mason, OH and back. The young lady making the sub should have went to Sub school . She put so much meat and stuff on the bread the guy wrapping could barely get the knife through it. PCW made no money at Sub shop today. Then she shows the guy how to cut and wrap. I guess it was one of those got of be there things.
I have not even ridden my favourites Wild Beast, Bat, Vortex, MineBuster, or Topgun yet. The season has only begun. Looking forward to a few rainy days, which always keep the crowds away.
